HBCU ABLE is proud to spotlight our alumni and student members through our Member Spotlight Series. This initiative highlights the many pathways our community members take after graduating and shows prospective students just how expansive the HBCU network truly is. If you are an HBCU alum interested in serving as a mentor, please complete the mentor interest form in our Linktree. 💜🧡
Taylor Grant graduated from Howard University in 2014 from the School of Communications. She is a proud Bison who now works as an IP Associate Attorney, where she applies her legal expertise to protect and manage intellectual property.
Grant believes mentorship is deeply connected to the confidence and encouragement she received during her time at Howard. As she shares, “Mentorship, to me, is rooted in the confidence that was poured into me during my time at Howard. Howard gave me unshakable confidence, reminding me that I am capable, qualified, and called to operate in excellence in everything I do.”
