Student Spotlight: LaMiyah Baker

LaMiyah Baker is a sophomore political science major hailing from the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. Since arriving at Howard, she has been “booked and busy!”
During her freshman year, LaMiyah served as a team lead for RUF (Reformed University Fellowship), a mentor for Jumpstart, and held an internship with the PASS Foundation – a STEM mentorship program with a law focus.
This year, she has continued her work with Jumpstart in addition to joining the Black Girls’ House, Black Women in Pre Law, the Howard Chapter of NAACP, and holding an Engagement Officer position for her fall externship at S.A.D.I.E LLC.
